We thought Kara’s 416 score was impossible to beat. At least until we saw this morning that Natalie Newhart topped the leaderboard with an incredible 441 reps.
Natalie Newhart, 29-year-old from Backcountry CrossFit, South West region, dominated in 15.2 scoring 6 reps more than Josh Bridges who won the men’s division with 435 points. That performance almost lead her to finished the 7th round of 22 reps. Camille Leblanc-Bazined finished 2nd, improved her last year’s score from 404 to 427, and Kara Webb came 3rd. Bridges was ahead of Ben Smith (433) and Dakota Rager (427).

Will Kane and Annie Thorisdottir won 15.2 in Europe
Will Kane from CrossFit Cheltenham pulled the strongest performance (408 reps) in Europe, which also placed him 8th worldwide. With 53 reps less Jonne Koski finished 2nd ahead of Frederik Aegidius, Numi Katrinarson and Steven Fawcett.
After two weeks of the CrossFit Open 2015 Steven Fawcett shares overall number one spot together with Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson.
Annie Thorisdottir won 15.2 in women’s division which now also puts her into the leading position overall. With 347 reps Thuridur Erla Helgadottir came 2nd and Katrin Tanja Davidsdottir placed 3rd.
Overall, first three spots are currently dominated by Icelandic women, Annie, Sara and Katrin Tanja, but Emma McQuaid from CrossFit 8020, Northern Ireland climbed up the chart and now sits on 4th place.

Annie Thorisdottir topped women leaderboard, while Steven Fawcett and Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson are leading the men’s category. In Team divison CrossFit Reykjavík – Virtuosity leads ahead of CrossFit Solid and CrossFit JST Black.

This year Europe has only 30 spots that lead on to the CrossFit Regionals. The change is due to the new strategy that combines Europe with Africa into a new Meridian Super Region. Becky Pykett, currently 40th overall in Europe, pointed out an interesting fact. Do you agree?
