The final fight game down to an 89 ft lunge with 2 35-lb. kettlebells overhead. Tia-Clair set off with a strong lead but had to stop several times. Kara Webb, only a few points behind her on the leaderboard caught up right at the end. Tia-Clair was no-repped and had to recompose herself before standing back up and stepping forwards. Both Aussie women dived across the line at the same time and the result was hanging in the balance. After several painful minutes of suspense, Dave Castro brought both Athletes into the middle of the arena. He then declared Tia-Clair the 2017 CrossFit Games champion.
