On its second year as a Sanctional, Strength in Depth will take place in London between January 24 and 26.

The Four times Fittest on Earth “needs little introduction having finished on the podium at The CrossFit® Games for the past 6 years, and holds the current joint record for most Games wins alongside @richfroning (4),” Strength in Depth wrote.

This is bound to be an exciting competition, testing the Elite individual athletes in a complete new field in one of its events: on-water rowing. This is the first time athletes will row on water in a Sanctioned competition.

Team Mayhem Freedom, led by Rich Froning and with the new addition of Scott Panchik, are also likely to look for an invitation to the CrossFit Games in London. During the CrossFit Open 20.1 live announcement, Froning hinted the team might travel to England shortly after hosting the Mayhem Classic.
